Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters and Toilet-Hunting Mission

Woke up in the morning asking myself "What shall I do today?". Then I remembered Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters. Oh yeah. Let's go catch a movie!

After preparing lunch for my grandma, I head off to VIVA Home Mall at Jalan Loke Yew. It was the nearest to home. Plus no traffic congestion within the lunch hour period.

Had no problem looking for a parking, and managed to arrive at the ticket counter of MBO Cineplex at the exact time of showtime; 1.45pm. I can count heads in the cinema! I sat a the back, and counted 8 heads altogether. Hmm...maybe because it was a weekday. Oh wait! I was here on a Saturday before, and it had the same ambient like today! Well, I'll just conclude that VIVA is a mall that focuses on Home products. And it's not something that people will look for everyday. Although, there is a Giant supermarket available in the complex! Other than that, it focuses more on furnitures, appliances, furnishings and many other home products.

The movie was really good. (The popcorn didn't). My favourite part, which of course, seeing the siblings fighting back-to-back to destroy the witches. They were punched, kicked, fell to the floor, shot by the witch's wand, thrown to the wall, bled and stabbed, yet they stood to each other and fought back! Now that's a real brother-and-sisterly love. Awww~ Although some parts were really gruesome to watch. Especially the part (ending part) where the witches were running away into the woods and were shattered into pieces by an unseen lining of wires attached between trees. Not to mention, blasted and chopped heads, shredded bodies and bloods here and there. Gruesome but awesome! After the movie ended, I was like "Is it really that easy to destroy witches? The siblings made it look so easy!" Bearing in mind, this is only a movie.

Thanks to the dissatisfying taste of the tasteless popcorn, I thought of pampering myself with good food. So I opted for Hainan Tea Garden. I ordered BBQ Chicken Roll and a Hainan Green Tea, and took a place at the high stool table overlooking down the Centre Court from Level 3. And there was an iPad attached to the table. In case I got bored of looking down or suddenly suffered from vertigo. Ha-ha.

After eating the rolls and forcing my mouth to open up wide, I bet I looked messy with my headscarf slightly running away from its consistency that I had earlier accorded. So then I looked for the ladies room and awed me instantly. What a very nice deco! Neat.

And then I remembered the last time I was here, the Ladies I went into was of a Cowgirl theme. And the other one was a colourful mosaic theme.

And now, I was in another themed wash room! So then I decided to go into every Ladies' wash room just to see if there were individually different.

Correct I was! Every Ladies wash room I got into was totally different!

Arigato gozaimasu.

Well, what's there to question? This is a home-product mall anyway! Now, these were only at the North Court. I was running late, so I didn't go Toilet-Hunting at the South Court. But at least I know what I'll be doing the next time I come here then.

Have you had a friend whom you didn't meet for so long and wished you did? Well I do. After approx. 10 years, I finally met up with Maya. She was a friend when we lived in Taiwan. I found out she worked at VIVA a week ago, and decided to meet her today. She was working, so we chatted for a short time. But we did plan to make a reunion for the rest of our friends. So hola-hola!

Out.
