Dungun Oh Dungung!

Senyum Sokmo to all. 

Washeh. Mentang2 la dah dok kat Terengganu kan? Iya..aku kini berada di Dungun. Kenapa? Sebabnya...aku sedang meneruskan perjuangan hidupku berstatus pelajar ni le.
Alhamdulillah..selepas selesai ;

• blaja erti hidup di universiti pada peringkat pertama, Diploma in Business Studies selama 3 tahun non-stop kat UiTM Sabah,
• mengingat fakta2 tentang apa itu AIDa concept, Maslow's Hierarchy of Human Needs, dan Managerial Functions of POLC, serta 
• menghafal rumus2 dengan cara; menyalin rumus2 tersebut berulang2 kali sampai 5/6 helai kertas kajang dengan harapan tinggi supaya boleh hingat sampai dah tua kerepot dan boleh la tunjukkan kehebatan pada cucu cicit.

Akhirnya..aku berjaya menamatkan pengajian aku on-time. 

Kini, aku berada di UiTM Dungun, Terengganu atas dasar menyambung pengajian aku di program Bachelor of Business Administration (hons) Operation Management. 

Dulu masa isi borang untuk course degree...memang course ini lah menjadi pilihan  hati no.1. Alhamdulillah, kalau rezeki tu dah tak ke mana kan~ Dapat jugak aku course ni.

Ni 2nd time aku jejak kaki kat Terengganu. But my 1st kat Dungun. First impression? Jakun. But not in a serious way lahh. The journey from Kuala Terengganu to Dungun was mostly alongside the ocean. Even the campus betul2 menghadap laut. Only yang memisahkan UiTM dengan laut adalah sebatang jalanraya, rumput2 serta pasir2 pantai. 

Lepas selesai registration n everything..i went for the taklimat pasal the course study.Bla3.. OK frustrating giler bila dapat tau ada 2 extra subjects that i need to add to my course. Maksudnya..kira cam differ  la. Differ maksudnya..kita belum ambik subjek tu lagi. So kalau nak grad on time kena la ambik subjek tu. Yang buat sakit otaknya..jam kredit setiap sem tu. Untuk sem ni (part 3), subjek2 sedia ada dah bernilai 24 jam kredit..n max jam kredit pun 24 jam. So no way aku dapat selitkan salah satu subjek differ tu kat sem ni. Dah tu, dua2 subjek tu nilainya 4 jam kredit. So lepas calculate n planning semua..sah2 la aku kena taruk subjek tu kat intersesi nanti. Means, kena la korbankan waktu cuti. Sigh~ 


So far, aku bleh adapt pada tempat ni. Mainly cuz sebelum datang ke Terengganu lagi aku dah set my mind positively. As there is a saying; "You never get a second chance to make a first impression". So to avoid myself living my life at suck..aku pun letak mindset to positive. and alhamdulillah..All is well. 


Aku bersyukur...cuz i hadn't any problem looking for a house in Dungun when i arrived here. Thanks to Tika..she registered earlier than me to UiTM, and she is one lucky girl. I really thought i'd get a room in college. Sigh~ So much for high hope! and even better...things are going on well with my housemates. They're 7 of us in the house. 5 of us are classmates! Isn't that cool? We'd go to class together n have no worry of being left out or home-alone. and what's wayyy better?? It's a bungalow house. But not as big as a mansion OK? Hell am i to think how much i'd have to pay monthly. 


Class so far's OK as well. Only what sucks, we have classes at night. Thought of joining the cultural club here..but thanks to night classes, i'm gonna have to miss out the gamelan classes which is held in the night. Boo-hoo~

UiTM Sabah tatap di hatiku~

Festival Tari Borneo, 3rd edition a.k.a FTB may as well be my last involvement in UiTM Sabah. *sad mode*


FTB in brief: :
it's a dance competition involving university students within the Borneo island. That includes Sabah, Sarawak, Brunei and Indonesia. All competing for two types of dance categories; Rampaian Tarian Asli Melayu and Etnik Kreatif. Apart from competing, it's more like changing and sharing cultures.
Share in what ways u asked? "Iya..cakapnya Indonesia lorr". OK seriously. Ever since the Indonesian contingents first arrived, everyone was speaking Indonesian. Even us the Sabahan would speak Indonesian together. What da heck? See how influenced the Indonesians are to us? Or on the positive side of it would be, maybe we are just versatile. Versatile it is...sometimes i would 'accidentally' speak Indonesian to the other Sabahan, Sarawak and Brunei contingents. Shame on me! But, How am i supposed to recognize who's from which contingents? They all look alike! The universities involved were; UiTM Sabah, UiTM Sarawak, Universiti Malaysia Sabah, Universiti Malaysia Sabah- Kampus Antarabangsa Labuan, Unirazak Sabah, Inirazak Sarawak, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak, Universitas Tanjung Pura, Universitas Mulawarman & Universitas Lambung Mangkurat.




After what seemed like weeks...(actually, the festival only lasted for 3 days; 27-29 Dec 2010) FTB ended with a blast closing ceremony. Alhamdulillah. Another success for UiTM Sabah. Many congrats to all the winners. I just wished i was one of the winners. But better off not. I'd surely cause the the team to lose with my so-called art of dancing.

Well, that's all folks. I've finally come to the last chapter of this book, and surely will end it with a satisfactory to the max. A new book closes, and a new one opens. All i'm hoping is, it'll get better every time. Thanks to the past, the better future awaits.

I will always cherish the moments and people that contributes to the best of my life. The book of "UiTM Sabah tatap di hatiku" shall never fade. It'll be kept in the best conditioned library in.... my heart ..............forever.
