We Knew Something was Wrong~

SATURDAY 26th JUNE 2010

Went to Labuan.

Mama, Danial, Tasya n I went to Labuan by speedboat from Menumbok. It was actually my 1st time. I usually go to Labuan by Express directly fom KK. By Express, it takes 3 hours to reach Labuan. But by speedboat, it only takes 20 minutes. But on d contrary, u'd have to drive or take a bus to Menumbok from KK. Whereby the journey takes up to 2 hours plus2. So either way..it still takes up to 3 hours from KK to Labuan. The moment we reachd Labuan, Papa came to greet us. Went for brunch n ate Roti Cobra. I've no idea how'd it got the name. Here's a picture of it.

It's actually Roti kosong. Then they'd pour over the Roti with curry (chicken/beef)..then add an egg on the top. n it's called Roti Cobra. Like i said, no idea why Cobra? but it's super delicious~

Then we went shopping for chocolates..*drool*.. I bought myself an M&M's..n this time i bought one of its' collection.

I'm planning to collect more of its kind, but in d future that is~ U know how expensive these collections are.

Next..to d shoe shop! Yess!! I've finally bought a sneaker. All these while, I wore my dad's Adi. It was a lil big, but thankx to the sox. It fitted well. there was this one shoe i set my eye on d 1st time we went to the shop..Unfortunately..unfortunately...it hadn't my size~ then my mom n Danial fell heart on it as well..n luckily for them..they had the size. Boo-hoo me! So in the end..i bought these.

It's actually a futsal-fitted shoes..but i'll manage. It's really comfy. Thanks to Danial n Papa for suggesting these.

So we've had our brunch, shop chocolates, bought shoes..then suddenly my dad's friend suggested lunch. Mann..we just ate our brunch, n it's like 2 hours ago. I surely couldn't afford another heavy meal. I mean, roti cobra was already heavy. So Danial, Tasya n I only ate a plate of Cucur Udang. n yet, we couldn't even finish 'em.

Now that i'm fully loaded..not with money tho (how i wish)..we finally headed home. It was 3pm by the time. Dad's friend offered for dinner at 5pm. n we were like.."No way~" eat..eat..eat..was never-ending that day. So in d end, Papa proposed of having dinner at 8pm. Thank God~

We ate at Choice Restaurant..I just love~ Mamak restaurants. My favourite dish would be Roti Naan Cheese. It was actually burnt a little..so it wasn't as great as i'd expected would b that night. Still..with the help of Danial, i managed to finish up the Naan. 

SUNDAY 27th JUNE 2010

This morning, Mom n Dad went out to settle something. So the rest of us sat at home n woke up late. haha. Then at noon, we went to Ujana Kewangan a.k.a UK..the only shopping complex there is in Labuan. Dad had a talk to attend, so Mom had to send him off. Then she went to a friend's house to chitter chat. n for the 3 of us..we planned of playing bowling..but Darn~ it was full. so we just hung around d UK. Bought another graphic novel for my collection. *smile*

After Dad finished with the talk thing..we head off back to Menumbok. n this is where the story of my life begins. 

It was cloudy.not raining. So we had no idea at all of what was gonna happen to us in minutes time. So we got on the boat n head back to Menumbok.

Halfway through..we started feeling rain. Our boat was hooded, so we were kindda protected. but somehow, suddenly the boat comes to a slow.then a stop. We were like "wht's happening. We knew something was wrong. I mean, they cant just stop in a journey. Unless there was a mermaid to look at..haha. Only then we realized that we were lost. It was raining, n it was hazy. Not a glimpse of an island at all. There should be no worries of lost at all from Labuan to Menumbok cuz its' surrounded by islands. but our time..it was in a blind spot. Totally white view only. Good thing was..our boat wasn't d only one that got lost. There were 2 other boats. n luckily we managed to stick together. Credits to the driver cuz they took d right action to stop d boat rather then swooshing off to nowhere. Cuz if they dozed off another 100m..we'd probably hit a rock area. Phew~

after 15 minutes of stopping..we were already getting seasick. Then finally..one person spotted an island. Since these drivers are experienced..they knew exactly where they were heading.

After bout 45 minutes on the boat..we finally 'landed'..Thank God~ Normally, it only takes 20 minutes..but it wasn't our day. Still..i'm still alive!

Back home in KK.
