In short, not much happened this year. There were a few big moments. But nothing tremendously BIG. Like reaching the summit of Mount Everest, or fly a helicopter over Grand Canyon, or go on an African Safari, or visit the Pyramids, or getting married, or engaged,...or at least get myself a steady boyfriend (now I sound pathetic).
JANUARY. Probably my last time to 'go back' to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. After this, I might just use the word 'go' (without the word 'back'). It's been 8 years in Sabah. Now we've transferred again. But I do intend to go back (Sometime in the future). I really wanna go to Tawau, Perhentian Island, and 'Tagal' Sungai Moroli, Kg.Luanti in Ranau.
APRIL. Surely is my last time to join Program Integrasi Nasional Pertukaran Budaya 1Malaysia, or short for PINPB among UiTM-ers and few other universities. I've been a part of this annual program since it was first established in 2009. Only missed the year when it was held in Sarawak, 2011. PINPB Terengganu 2012
MAY. First time celebrating my birthday with university friends. Previously, my birthday always fell on a semester break.
JUNE. My mum graduates from OUM, holding a Degree in BBA (Hons) Finance. Yayy, congrats Mama! Moreover, I had my first real working interview. Even though it was only for an intern position, but heck, seems real to me!
JULY. Was my last time as a student to sit for an exam in the university hall. And for the record, it was my first time to shed tears after sitting for an exam. And this happened to be after my Quality Management paper! Gosh, to recall the moments, it's totally embarrassing now. I felt I gave 200% effort for that paper. But upon sitting for it, I just felt everything was wrong. Heck, it's over.
Furthermore this year, I set foot for the first time in Indonesia. Learning Through Experience to Indonesia program
AUGUST. Started internhip program at MATRADE. It's my final semester before graduating my Degree level.
OCTOBER. First accident that involves myself. The Perodua Collision. Lesson learnt: (apart from being careful at all times), always drive behind an inexpensive car. Prevent is always better than cure.
NOVEMBER. Involved in an international business meeting during INTRADE in MATRADE. Incoming Buying Mission (IBM) as a secretariat. Awesome experience.
DECEMBER. It's my first time ever to go into an aborigine settlement. My uncle was the one who suggested we go to Bentong, to his native friends' home. It's fruit season! So we enjoyed all the durians, rambutans, jackfruits, kundangs and mangosteens.
Goodbye 2012, Hello 2013.
