We, the I.P.O.D-ers

Like I promised said in the previous previous previous post about me telling about my I.P.O.D classmates. (I.P.O.D is NOT the Apple iPOD). It stands for Ijazah Pengurusan Operasi Dungun (Bachelor in Operations Management in Dungun). Before you read on, I suggest you put on Perpisahan Ini by Aizat Amdan ft.1st Edition song. Just to get in the mood. And it's sorta have become our theme song. Well, here goes...

Tika. Shes the one and only person I know of when I first arrived here in Dungun (apart from Yutz, who returned to Sarawak after a month). Known her (and the boyfie) when I was in Sabah. We're JKP-ians (Jawatankuasa Kesenian Pelajar) when we were in UiTM Sabah. We're housemates from House no.1 (Rumah Kambing), 2 (Buyung)..and 3 (Sbelah warung Pok Long). She's always been the source for people seeking for advice. Likes dreaming of becoming a Muslimah model. Well, she's tall n slim, n she is a Muslimah. So why not? Tika, when stressed, likes to babble. Sometimes, she demotivate her own self. Saying she can't do this and that. She keeps telling people she ain't good at doing something, which I beg to differ. However, those made her more inspired and only showed people that she's capable of doing anything.

Cyla. Introduced by Tika. After I got out of the first home, it was her house that Tika and I moved in. This all-sem Dean-lister *salutes* is very hardworking. Not to mention real clever. Cyla is my room-mate in my 3rd home. She's a Twitter-freak. My movie-companion. My dancing partner. I like borrowing her Ujang, and she borrows my Gempakstarz graphic novels. She once thought Teh O Laici was weird, but I managed to make her like it (but still fails in attempt for Wheatgrass juice. Sigh). She's our Sambal chef whenever we crave for one. Oh, her husky voice is real sexy. Plus, there were few people who thought we were twins. Twins, really? And she's known for being Najwa Latif at Warung ABJ sebelah kubur (obviously unlike me). And we're both Pearl Tea craver. And crayyyzy over Jozan.

Ellie. Big eyes, flowery-headband and wavy hairstyle. That's her the first time I saw her. At the first class together, we automatically connect when the lecturer asked us to form a group. So from then on, until the last semester together, we'd be in the same group all along, together with Cyla and Tika. I sometimes call her Lion, cuz her hair may look like a lion's mane. Especially in the morning. LOL. The first time I heard her speak English, I was like, Daemm she's good. She's tall and slim-shady, a movie-freak and hate ants. Whenever I don't feel like driving to class, it is her car that I pooled in, and vice versa. Ellie always urged me to consult a psychiatrist every time I called myself fat. And that's everyday in case you didn't know.

Muni. This rockafella chica..well..rocks! Let's not imagine her being a softy, giggles politely, and being a quiet mouse. Cuz she obviously isn't. She's very open to sarcasm, take things as something fun and funny. And she calls me Kiah Propa. Sooo...not me. Oh Munir, Muni, u are one funny lady! Most of what she say makes me laugh. She also led me to workout at the campus's gym earlier this year. (But I only managed to stay for a month. And bet I'll fail if I had a workout subject to pursue).

Eyna. White rectangular spectacles. That's her. She always comment my speaking as if I'm presenting in front of an audience. "Yong, jangan buat presentation", and there I was talking about food. Eyna's a softie, very much manja-type but her laugh may defy the fact.

Yuyu. My Papa. And no, we're not what u imagine we are. We just like fooling around. Me calling her Papa, n her calling me Mama. LOL. I introduced her to Roti Tampal, which she loves now. Big fan of the Red Warriors. Attracted to guys with beards, yet she's faithful to her one and only.

Zaza. I liked her name; Zarith Sofea. The first time I saw her, she's very motherly..or maybe a big sister type. But hey, that's just my first P.O.V. Loves her husky voice too.

Fiza N. There's two Fiza in the class, so gotta put the surname initial to differentiate. She's one of the girl-next-door type of person. I once shared a tent with these two Fiza, so when speaking to one of them, i have to face the "Fiza" I intend to speak with.Oh, to differentiate, i call her Fiza Kelantan.

Nor. She may be petite, but she's a rockafella. I love her confidence when presenting in front of the class.

Wanie. She's also a girl-next-door type of person. She doesn't talk much, and she's very...ayu. Wanita Melayu Terakhir I'd say.

Ainaa. I used to call her Apeq, like everybody else, but she insist we call her with her real name instead; Ainaa. I've always respect her in whatever she does. She's a good sports-person, and ace in academic, and a good friend. We share heart-to-heart feeling sometimes. Awwww.. She's the person everybody looks for when it comes to academic, especially in exam preparation. She has always been prepared to help by tutoring me and other friends, and sharing her notes. I salute her for taking her personal time off to help her friends prepare for exams. I bet I couldn't do that.

Aliza. This Head Commander is also a fashionista. There's always a new fashion that she'd bring to class. Her favourite line "Haaaa....kan~?"

Tiq. This rockafella chic is always seen with her headphone on. Even if it means studying for tomorrow's exam papers. She loves wearing white pants, and shoes. Of all my friends I know of, she's d most brutal girlfriend for a boyfriend (which she already has). Kindda creepy at first knowing the fact.

Awie. She's one of the first few people I met when I arrived here in Dungun. Her signature clothes: black n white hooded jacket. She's seen to wear 'em every time. Especially during night classes and monsoon seasons. Or practically in normal classes (cuz classes can be friggin cold).

Wani. Her real name is nothing related to her nickname. I used to get confused with her name, especially when wanting to tag her on facebook. Cuz she uses her real name there. And I'd have to think before I mistakenly tag somebody else.

Peq. Somebody once mistakenly tag her picture on facebook with my name. (Can't remember who). I played the game at first..then I blurted out saying that it wasn't me. And they started telling we looked alike.

Nadia. Sometimes curly. Sometimes straightened. Err, I meant her hair. I call her Nad like everybody else. And since there's two Nad in class, we sometimes call her Nad rambut. Gahh..I don't know why we couldn't just call her Nadia, much a shorter name.

Aiza. She's the most secretive person I know of. I only found out where her hometown is in the second semester together. She's one of the brain lots. Very academic-hardworking type, and also a bit of the manja-type. I like her presentation skills. She always provide organized presentation slides (with contents!), and her English is real good too. One time, she was presenting about Air Asia, Ms Zu said that she suits to be Air Asia's spokesperson. (nak jadi Duta gak bleh?)

Nadz. We were housemates in our first home in Dungun. But we separated after there was a problem with the house. In our last semester in uni, she was our hope in helping to make copies of notes from lecturers etc.

Farrah. She's a dancer. She's a DJ. She's a singer. She's funny. She likes doing that 'gedik2' style which totally entertained me. And she always sulk for being fat (which she isn't. Just a psycho game playing in her head). In the first class with her, Prof Norudin called her Secretary.

Nurul. Where there is Farrah, there is Nurul, and vice versa. Whenever I want to spread a certain news, I'd usually text her to represent her other friends.

Mas. She's a Ganu-ian, and her accent is so original. You have to have a little exposure on the Pantai Timur accent to understand her.

Mira. She's petite and her Ganu accent is so original too.

Rina. She's the only girl in class that consistently wears tudung Indon/segera. Oh, with a pop-up flower too.

Akma. She has the same name as our OSH lecturer. (Okay, nothing related really).

Hana. The first time I saw Hana, i dont know why i thought she was one fierce lady. Which totally defies the assumption, after knowing her.

Syikin. We were once in the same group during our Issues in Operations subject presentation. We've never worked together before, yet TY said we make up a good team together. That was meaningful.

Eka. I didnt really had the chance to work together with Eka, but she was a good friend.

Eton. I didn't really get the chance to hang out with her often, but she was a good friend too.

Fiza A. a.k.a Fiza Pahang cuz she used to study in Pahang for diploma. Also a reason to differentiate with Fiza N.

Bella. We have the same real name, Nabila. It's a good thing we dont get confused by our nicknames, cuz it's so different. The only problem is, when our lecturers called our name to retrieve our marked test papers in class. We'd have to ask, "Which Nabila"? (Biasa la..nama femes-emes~)

Na. We once worked together for Research Methodology. Now we share the same advisor for Thesis research. We also used to be in the same group for presentation, and we were said to have a good team. (High five).

Nana. The first time I saw here, she was one of those person we'd call sweet and girl-next-door type. And she is. I only found out she was a talkative person when negotiating for a cheaper price during our trip to Indonesia mid this year. (Maybe I shud ask her to accompany me whenever i go shopping next time)

Min. Where there is Min, there is Nana. They're always together. She's older than some of us, but I never knew before I saw her IC number. And she barred us from calling her Kak Min. (Nak panggil gak..Kak Min~~)

Ecah. She may be the youngest in our I.P.O.D family, but she's a lot more matured than some of us. LOL. (Including me, I guess). And she's a real shopaholic. We shared the same room in Indonesia, and seeing her pack her stuffs to return back to Malaysia, I was stunned. She didn't shop for herself, but for her entire family. So thoughtful~ (Cepat2 kawen ngan Abe dehh)

Nora. Our Shila Amzah. Cuz her face is almost alike to the singer. And yeah, she's very photogenic. Oh, she  also melatah. Every time she melatah (sorry, no such term in English. Sounds really weird in an English sentence aite?), we get so entertained. And of course, most of the time we'd make her melatah again on purpose. (*cucuk pinggang*)

Wawa. One with a very strong self-esteem. I sometimes get lost in her words when she starts speaking real Kelantanese. This businesswoman is a verrry nice person. The first time I saw her, I concluded that she was one of those sweet, girl-next-door fashionista (she's very well dressed in fashion), but when I started hanging out with her, she talks a lot. I like seeing her do her loathe-face when regards to a matter she dislikes. (Dah jadi tunang orang dah Wawa kita ni. Syed, take good care of her! *serious face*)

Syed. The future husband of Wawa (now her fiance) is like our big brother. He's so concern with our welfare. He owns a photostat shop in campus. At times, we get to copy for free. I usually insisted to pay, but i failed over his nice words of not to. He's soo NOT stingy when it comes to money. He takes people out to eat. He's willing to pay for something using his own money for everyone's benefits. Not brother-ly enough? (Klau nk kawen habaq mai. Biaq jauh, at least Yong bleh prepare something un-physical. Ooops...terbocor)

Daing. Operations Management Society (OPEMS) president year 2011/2012. He seems to be the quiet-mice-type. Soft-spoken sort. Very calm in almost every situation.

Muqsit. He's always been the favourite of everybody. I mean, in a bully-sense. And he'd always give the same response like he never cared a thing. His trademark? Aku pulakk? Aku lagiiii? I seriously cannot forget his response when seeing insects. Shocked me the first time. But that's between me us and him. LOL. (Muqsit..Muqsit *geleng kepala*). Oh, and he can sing a Ziana Zain song! (Kau ada???)

Paan. Bully master/king/taiko. His favourite victim? Almost everybody. But I must say, Muqsit? He likes making fun of people. On the positive side, he's quick at identifying people's characteristics, and imitates them. (I wonder what he imitates me). At first, I didn't really understood his attitude, so I'm always pissed off. Then knowing he's d sorta guy, I blended in. He's a good friend tho.

Anas. Famously for his ( : ) in writing/commenting on facebook. This Maher Zain look-alike is well.....looks like Maher Zain. (not really actually. It's just his hat *evil laugh*)

Bai. Bai Amat Intelligent. At least that's what he called himself. The guys always make up names among themselves (unaware if they made names of me). Oh, and he was once caught by Mdm Nik for playing Kandang Lembu on his shirt with 'Arif (or was it not him? Can't remember who).

'Arif. Famously known for his marinated chicken. Although I cant really say so, cuz we just didn't have the time to gather everybody (i.e. Family Day) and allowing him to do all the BBQ settings just yet. Maybe next time I'll approve the statement. (As for now, let it just be a so-called statement).

Toi. Toi Orang Intelligent. His signature look? His baru-bangun-tidur hairstyle. Be it to class, games and dinner event. He was known as K-Pop by Ms Hajar (no idea why. Maybe his hairstyle? Na'ah). Oh, he also has a khaki-colored jacket with an Eagle-spread-wings design that he always wear, and i mean, always. For extra, he has a verrrry good voice, especially when singing songs that requires high level of tarik-tarik suara. He can totally nail it! (Toi jugak orang pertama kena denda nyanyi dlm kelas Mdm Nik. *korek2 file cari video tersebut*)

Adhan. or Adhang (with a g). Famously known for his 'Lajnah....mohon itu...mohon ini...' and 'Mu niokkk'. He likes speaking to me in his strong Ganu accent, and leaving me blurred. Then he laughs when i dont understand. He's also known for being a lipas kudung. Very evident during our 'Running Man' class activity. (Untunglaa kurus~)

Lela. Not really sure who found the name, but it became a chain after one person started calling him that. His other name (more proper name) is Duan with a 'g'. Don't ya'll forget. He has a really strong self-esteem. Let it be English or Indonesian language, you can easily know he's from Terengganu the moment he opens his mouth. And he's really confident with everything he does and speak. I can never forget how he pronounce Not Necessarily (as in Not Nessesaghilee)..so cute it tickled my bones. Lela is the person I seek for help at times when I want to go to the bus station (when my car or other friends' are not available).

Faiz. a.k.a Gaga among the guys. (Obvioulsy nothing related to Lady Gaga I hope).

Zul. He is the most relaxed person I know of. He acts cool to almost any situation, and just smile like nobody's business.

P/S: Dear I.P.O.D-ers, I'm sorry if any of the statements above affected you badly. I made this for fun, and for us to reminisce our friends' traits anytime. As much colorful our traits are, we make up the best group. We're the only ones who have a real cool class name in campus right? I.P.O.D-ers. *nose proudly high*

P/S/S: If there's anything I'm forgetting, and u want me to add here, DO TELL ME! I'd be honored to do so. Especially those funny ones. (Minus any nicknames/events u personally have with another, and has nothing to do with me. Cuz this is my blog, remember?)

Here are some pics of us. I intently chose pictures that are overly crowded by us. I mean, what's I.P.O.D without us all together?
